Hugh Christopher Newsom Jr., a 23-year-old Caucasian male from Knoxville, Tennessee, was brutally murdered on January 6, 2007. Newsom and his girlfriend, Channon Gail Christian, aged 21, were kidnapped after their vehicle was carjacked in the early hours of the morning.
