In the early morning hours of March 2, 2008, a horrific scene of violence unfolded inside a house on Lester Street in the Binghampton neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee, forever changing the lives of the Dotson family. Cecil Dotson, a 30-year-old man, was shot and killed in his own home. This act of violence was not an isolated incident but the beginning of a brutal massacre that would claim the lives of six individuals and leave three young children grievously wounded.
