In the autumn of 2011, the life of 19-year-old Victor Michael Harris III was tragically cut short in Knoxville, Tennessee. An African American male, Harris was shot and killed on November 9, 2011, in what police have described as a gang-related shooting. The incident unfolded at the Arbor Place apartments on South Hall of Fame Drive, where his mother, Devona Wilder, heard his desperate screams for her.
