On November 11, 2016, Andrew Wesley, a 39-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, was found shot in the 5000 block of Emerson Avenue. Around 7:00 p.m., officers from the St. Louis City Police Department responded to a call reporting gunshots in the area. Upon their arrival, they discovered Wesley lying on the sidewalk, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries later that evening.
