Corey Lee Walls, a 35-year-old man, was killed during a street robbery on November 22, 2016, in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident took place early in the morning near the intersection of St. John Avenue and Cypress Avenue in Kansas City's Northeast area. At approximately 5:00 a.m., Walls was walking along the street when he was approached by a man armed with a handgun. The assailant shot Corey in the torso before fleeing the scene on foot, taking some of his belongings.
