Death by Force

Jamar Terrell Rogers, a 24-year-old African American male from West Jackson, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on June 8, 2014, around 3 a.m. in the parking lot of the Omni Center. According to court documents, witnesses reported hearing someone call Jamar's name before several gunshots rang out. Rogers succumbed to a single .25-caliber bullet that struck his heart.
