On November 22, 2016, Joe Nathan Mottley, age 36, was shot and killed in St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred in the vicinity of North 22nd Street in the Carr Square neighborhood. Authorities were called to the scene after reports of gunshots, and they found Mottley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead shortly after.
