On February 26, 2015, Leah M. Bumpus, a 26-year-old Black female, was found deceased in Memphis, Tennessee. Her death was discovered at the Eden at Watersedge apartment complex located in the Fox Meadows neighborhood after police were called to perform a welfare check.
