On the Fourth of July in 2015, a day typically marked by celebration, 28-year-old Joshua Fox’s life was tragically cut short in a North Knoxville, Tennessee home. Inside the residence located on Atlantic Avenue, Fox was in a back bedroom when he sustained a single, fatal gunshot wound to his chest. The stillness of the holiday was shattered by the sound of that lone shot, forever altering the lives of those present.
