Tiaria Miller, a 19-year-old African-American woman, tragically lost her life on November 13, 2015, in Johnson City, Tennessee. She was fatally shot while riding in a vehicle driven by Chelsey Scott. The incident occurred when Denver Christian Smith, who was running from the scene of an earlier shooting, fired multiple rounds into the vehicle. Tiaria succumbed to her injuries at a nearby hospital.
