On November 26, 2015, Darrel Jones, a 43-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was shot and killed on Central Avenue in Chattanooga, TN. The incident occurred around 3 p.m., and Jones succumbed to his injuries on the scene. Chattanooga Police responded to the report of the shooting and found Jones as the lone victim. Witnesses to the incident declined to cooperate with the investigation, and the case remained unsolved for some time.
