In the early morning hours of an autumn day in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 34-year-old Ronald Lewis was abruptly cut short. On October 14, 2016, at approximately 1:30 a.m., violence erupted in the 4000 block of New Willow Road in the eastern part of the city, leaving Lewis dead from a fatal gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, a life extinguished in a sudden act of aggression.
