In the late hours of August 28, 2020, the Fairview Inn and Suites in Memphis, Tennessee, became the scene of a tragic and violent event that claimed the lives of two individuals. Waquel Richardson, a 31-year-old Black male, was discovered in the lobby of the motel, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Not far from him, in a parked Nissan Maxima, lay 26-year-old Ashley Carter, who had also been fatally shot multiple times. Carter was notably the daughter of Crunchy Black, a member of the hip ...
