Marlon Keith Toney, a 48-year-old African American man from Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on January 31, 2017. He was a diesel mechanic and a father of three who was well-known in his Westwood neighborhood for helping others and mentoring kids. Toney was shot in his car outside his mother's home in the 4400 block of Cimmaron, off Weaver Road and Western Park Drive. His mother found him the next morning when his car rolled to her house.
