On a summer evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 24-year-old Adrian Ivory Jr. was tragically cut short. On July 12, 2017, Ivory, a Black male, found himself in a fatal confrontation during an attempted armed robbery in South Memphis. The incident unfolded in the 1200 block of East McLemore Avenue, a situation that would ultimately leave two men shot and one deceased.
