On February 7, 2018, 15-year-old Jeremiah Shelton, a freshman at Whites Creek High School in Nashville, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed. Jeremiah was visiting friends and family at the Berkshire Place Apartments in East Nashville when the incident occurred. He was found with a gunshot wound to the chest and was later pronounced dead at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
The investigation revealed that the shooting happened during a game of "horse playing" with a gun. Joshua D
