In the summer of 2018, tragedy struck in Nashville, Tennessee, when Frazier Bernard Lumpkins, a 66-year-old man, was fatally shot. The incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, July 15, 2018. Residents near the 1700 block of 23rd Avenue North reported hearing the sound of multiple gunshots around 8:00 p.m. In an alley in that area, Lumpkins was found, having been shot during what investigators believe was an argument.
