In the late hours of a Thursday in Memphis, Tennessee, the life of 52-year-old Sheila Scott came to a tragic and violent end. On August 3, 2018, police responded to a call at a home in the Bartlett area, where they found Scott with a gunshot wound to her chest. Before she succumbed to her injury, she was able to communicate to the officers that her live-in boyfriend, 73-year-old dentist Bobby Massengill, had shot her and that he had done so intentionally.
