In the spring of 2019, an argument in North Knoxville tragically cut short the life of Jerry Dean Holt Sr. a 40-year-old male. On the evening of April 30th, Knoxville Police responded to a shooting incident at 311 North Broadway just after 5 p.m. There they discovered Holt suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the UT Medical Center, but his injuries proved fatal, and he died later that day.
