On May 6, 2019, Brandon Rettich, a 42-year-old male from Springfield, Tennessee, was fatally shot at the intersection of East Robertson Rd. and Friendship Rd. in Cross Plains, TN. The Robertson County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a motorcyclist being shot and found Rettich dead at the scene. The investigation revealed that Rettich was shot during an ongoing dispute with Marquis Waller, a 22-year-old male from Nashville, TN.
