Timothy Matthew Shirley, a 30-year-old man from Jasper, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on July 13, 2019. Shirley was born and raised in Jasper and graduated from Marion County High School in 2008. After high school, he served in the United States Navy for eight years before returning home to work as a machinist at Foundry Pattern Services, Inc. in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Shirley was known for his love of sports, especially football and WWE wrestling, and was a huge Tennessee Vols fan.
