On a late spring evening in Marion County, Tennessee, the life of 55-year-old Michael Monroe Woods Jr. of Columbia, Missouri, came to a tragic and unexpected end. On Friday, May 27, 2022, Woods was found deceased in the bathroom of a rest area located on the eastbound side of Interstate 24.
