In the late summer of 2022, the life of 43-year-old Heath Steele was cut short in a violent encounter on a Tennessee highway. On August 23rd, Steele was fatally shot in what authorities would describe as a road rage incident on Interstate 24 in Marion County. The event sent shockwaves through the Jasper community, leaving friends and family to grapple with the sudden and tragic loss.
