Death by Force

Adena Parton, a 58-year-old woman from Cosby, Tennessee, tragically died on November 7, 2019. She was found deceased in her home on Padgetmill Road by deputies who responded to reports of gunshots. Upon arrival, they saw Martha Styles, 45, holding a handgun and waving it around inside the home. Styles eventually surrendered to the deputies after smashing a window and climbing through it. She was treated for cuts at a hospital and admitted to shooting Parton.
