On April 23, 2020, three-year-old Jermonie Keymonie Vinson tragically passed away in Ooltewah, TN. The young boy was accidentally shot by a stolen gun brought into his home by Derrick Lamont Ruffin Jr., a family friend. Ruffin failed to maintain control of the weapon, which led to Jermonie picking it up and accidentally firing it, striking himself in the chest.
