In the summer heat of Knoxville, Tennessee, a Fourth of July celebration turned into a scene of violence that would ultimately claim the life of 35-year-old Bobby Davis. On that Saturday evening in 2020, Davis was on Seminole Avenue, where festivities included the shooting of fireworks. An argument broke out, shattering the celebratory atmosphere. During the dispute, a man identified as 28-year-old Brandon Jamal McCaleb allegedly retrieved a firearm and shot Davis.
