In the late morning of August 22, 2020, a shooting shattered the quiet of a Clarksville, Tennessee neighborhood, leaving a young woman critically injured. The victim, 30-year-old Demetria McGregor, was found with a gunshot wound in the area of Tracy Lane and Blackjack Way. Emergency services responded to the scene at approximately 11:54 a.m. and transported McGregor to the hospital. Despite medical efforts, she succumbed to her injuries the following day.
