Michelle Gardner, a 35-year-old woman from Nashville, TN, tragically lost her life on September 1, 2020, due to a gunshot wound to the head. She was found outside the RiverChase Apartments on Joseph Avenue in East Nashville, where she had been sitting on the stoop near her unit. A second victim, a 39-year-old man, was also injured in the shooting but survived. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., and witnesses described the shooters as young men dressed in all black who fled the scene.
