On October 12, 2020, 26-year-old DeMario Sheree Lowery, a male of African American ethnicity from Detroit, Michigan, was found fatally shot inside a Chrysler 300 that had crashed into a parked Ford Expedition in the parking lot of Lonsdale Homes on Texas Avenue in Knoxville, Tennessee.
