In the early morning hours of October 12, 2020, the life of 26-year-old DeMario Sheree Lowery, a Black male from Detroit, Michigan, was tragically cut short in Knoxville, Tennessee. Just before 1 a.m., Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a call in the Lonsdale Homes apartment complex on Texas Avenue.
