James JP Parnell Jr., a 16-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 5, 2021, in Memphis, Tennessee. James, affectionately known as PJ, was a promising student and athlete at Raleigh-Egypt High School. He excelled in multiple sports, including track, football, basketball, and baseball.
