In the spring of 2021, the life of 16-year-old James 'JP' Parnell Jr., a promising male track star from Raleigh Egypt High School in Memphis, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. On May 5th, Parnell was visiting the 14-year-old daughter of 59-year-old John Moore at their home. Moore arrived to find Parnell in a bedroom with his daughter. This discovery led to a fatal confrontation.
