Douglas Crawley, a 38-year-old man from Nashville, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on May 18, 2021. Crawley was fatally shot in the Buena Vista neighborhood while walking in an alley near his apartment on Ninth Avenue North. He was reportedly speaking to a man in a dark-colored SUV when the driver produced a handgun and fired multiple shots at him. Crawley managed to run back toward his apartment but collapsed in the front yard and was later pronounced dead at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
