Diamond Love, a 20-year-old woman from Milan, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on August 23, 2021. She was found dead in her home along with Marcus Smith, 21, on Wilbur Nelson Road. The investigation revealed that Diamond Love's former boyfriend, Frederick Yates Jr., 20, was responsible for the double homicide. Yates was indicted on two counts of first-degree murder, especially aggravated burglary, and use of a firearm in the commission of a dangerous felony.
