In the early morning hours of March 25, 1981, Toni Monette, a 27-year-old Caucasian female, was working the overnight shift at the 7-Eleven store on Silver Lake Road in Mounds View, Minnesota. It was a shift she wasn't originally scheduled to work, having agreed to substitute for a new employee. Tragically, it would be her last.
