In the small, rural community of Battle Lake, Minnesota, the life of Susan Muriel Kinnunen, a 57-year-old White/Caucasian female, was tragically cut short on November 21, 2022. On that Monday afternoon, the Otter Tail County Sheriff's Office was called to a residence to investigate a report of two deceased adults. Inside the home, they discovered the bodies of Kinnunen and a 59-year-old man named Steven Kern.
