Clifford Mosby-Snead, a 27-year-old man, was tragically shot and killed on October 28, 2012, in Oakland, California. The incident occurred shortly after Mosby-Snead had exited a transit bus near East 18th Street and Park Boulevard, just a mile from Lake Merritt. His death was one of several homicides that contributed to a surge of violence in Oakland during that time, a period when the city was grappling with a significant increase in gun-related deaths.
