Shelby Lynn Booth, a 26-year-old woman from Boiling Springs, South Carolina, tragically lost her life on May 7, 2022, in a cabin located in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She was visiting the cabin with her boyfriend, Julian Angel Popoca, when the incident occurred. Booth was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds inside the cabin. Popoca, who was 21 years old at the time, was detained at the scene and later charged with second-degree murder.
