Vanity Macklin, a 33-year-old woman from Southaven, Mississippi, was tragically shot and killed on October 17, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee. She was driving her car with her two sons when she was shot in the head. The car subsequently crashed into a utility pole, and despite being rushed to the hospital, Macklin succumbed to her injuries.
The incident occurred in the 4100 block of Millbranch in Whitehaven, Memphis. Memphis police have been investigating the case, but as of now, no arrests
