In the autumn of 2022, the life of a Knoxville, Tennessee woman was tragically cut short. Ashley Nicole Fisher Green, a 38-year-old Caucasian female, was found deceased on Sunday, November 27, 2022. The discovery was made after Knoxville police responded to a call about two unresponsive individuals at a residence in the 900 block of Graves Street around 9:30 a.m.
Upon entering the home, officers found Ashley Green and a man identified as 35-year-old D'Edward Green, both of whom had
sustained apparent gunshot wounds. Sadly, both were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have indicated that they believe the incident was domestic in nature and have assured the public that there is no ongoing risk related to this event.
The Knoxville Police Department's Violent Crimes Unit is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Ashley and D'Edward Green. As of late 2025, the investigation remains ongoing. No arrests have been made in connection with the case, and no suspects have been publicly identified. The bodies were transported to the Regional Forensic Center for further examination to assist in the investigation. Ashley was a mother to four children.
