Naim Jama, a 23-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, was tragically shot and killed on August 28, 2011, in south Minneapolis. Jama had just left the Abubakar As-Saddique Islamic Center after participating in early morning prayers during Ramadan. He was with a group of young men, walking to a store to get food before dawn, when two men approached them.
