Gregory Blaise Adams, aged 31, was the Chief of Police in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania. On December 4, 1980, he was shot and killed while making a traffic stop in the parking lot of the Agway Feed Store. Chief Adams had pursued a suspect who had sped past a stop sign and attempted to turn around in the supermarket parking lot.
