In the early morning hours of a Sunday in Minneapolis, the life of an African-American man, Robert Johnson, 35, was tragically cut short. On July 14, 2013, officers responded to a shooting on the 3400 block of Fremont Avenue North. Upon arrival, they discovered Johnson lying wounded on the sidewalk.
