William Billy Veasey, a 35-year-old male of African American ethnicity, was tragically shot and killed on October 5, 1995, in South Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Veasey was driving a GMC Jimmy when his vehicle was sprayed with gunfire, resulting in multiple gunshot wounds that led to his death at a nearby hospital. The incident occurred just hours before his brother, John Veasey, was scheduled to testify against reputed Philadelphia mob boss John Stanfa in a federal racketeering trial.
