Gennaro D'Aurizio, an 83-year-old Italian immigrant, was found deceased on June 11, 2002, in his cherished three-acre vegetable garden in Chester, Pennsylvania. He had meticulously cultivated this garden since 1956, a testament to his dedication and passion for horticulture. His friend and fellow gardener, Giovanni Cosentino, aged 72, was also discovered at the scene, critically injured with a gunshot wound to the head.
