On February 2, 2006, John 'Omar' Hooks, a 32-year-old African American male, was tragically lost to gun violence in Chester, Pennsylvania. Known affectionately by nicknames such as "O Sheesh" and "Big O," John was remembered by friends and family as a funny, real, kind, giving, trustworthy, and family-oriented individual.
