Marckus Tyrone Banks, a 33-year-old African American man from Chester, PA, was tragically killed on September 26, 2013. He was found in an alley behind the 100 block of E. 23rd Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. Banks was pronounced dead at Crozer-Chester Medical Center at 9 p.m. that evening. The Assistant Delaware County Medical Examiner, Dr. Bennett Preston, ruled his death a homicide.
