A woman is fatally shot in South Minneapolis
Victoria Ann Day, a 23-year-old woman from Minneapolis, was found dead in the early hours of April 16, 2016, in an alley behind a residence in south Minneapolis, near the 2200 block of 10th Avenue South. Police were called at about 1:20 a.m. on a report of a person down, and when officers arrived they found her at the scene with apparent gunshot wounds. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner later ruled her death a homicide and said she had died from multiple gunshot wounds.
