Ta-Nasha Brittanya Shurnene Austin, a 30-year-old woman from St. Cloud, Minnesota, was fatally shot on March 18, 2022, in the Lowry Hill neighborhood of Minneapolis. The incident occurred around 7:37 a.m. outside a residence on the 1900 block of Colfax Avenue South. Austin sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported to Hennepin Healthcare, where she was pronounced dead later that afternoon. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office ruled her death a homicide.
