In a quiet home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the life of a 15-year-old Black female named Tyra Kiyae Terry was tragically cut short on the afternoon of August 24, 2024. The young girl, remembered by her older sister as the "sweetest person in the whole world," was looking forward to starting the 10th grade. Instead, her life ended from a single gunshot wound to the torso in an upstairs bedroom of a residence on Logan Avenue North.
