On May 19, 2022, Aaronesia Ortezia Clark, a 24-year-old woman from Minneapolis, MN, was found dead inside a vehicle in Robbinsdale, a suburb of Minneapolis. The incident occurred near the 3500 block of County Road 81. Alongside Clark, 28-year-old Damone Marcel Rhodes was also discovered deceased in the vehicle. Both victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, leading the authorities to classify the case as a homicide.
The Robbinsdale Police Department responded to the scene just before
3:45 p.m. on the day of the incident. Upon arrival, they found the victims inside the vehicle, which was parked near Lakeview Terrace Park. The police immediately began an investigation, which included a thorough examination of the crime scene and the collection of evidence from both the victim's vehicle and a suspect vehicle that was later found abandoned in north Minneapolis.
Despite the efforts of the Robbinsdale investigators and crime scene specialists from Hennepin County, no suspects were immediately identified. The investigation continued as authorities combed through the evidence in hopes of finding leads that could point to the perpetrator. As of the latest updates, there have been no arrests made in connection with the deaths of Aaronesia Ortezia Clark and Damone Marcel Rhodes.
