Jaquan Demario Oatis, a 28-year-old man, was shot and killed on August 12, 2016, in North Minneapolis. He was found on the sidewalk in front of 2939 Morgan Avenue North, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Despite a prompt investigation by the Minneapolis Police Department and the Hennepin County Medical Examiner, no suspects have been publicly identified, and the case remains unsolved.
